Privacy Notice
Yngel v1.0.0 · Last updated: 2 October 2026
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you use Yngel at yngel.hu or its Base44-hosted address, create an account, save datasets, or contact support.
Before you register or upload: Yngel uses Base44's Builder plan. Base44's published policy permits workspace data to be used for AI model training on non-Enterprise plans, with no opt-out. We cannot guarantee that account information or uploaded data is excluded. Use synthetic, public or otherwise non-confidential datasets that you are authorised to share; do not upload personal, sensitive or confidential information.
1. Who is responsible?
The operator and controller for Yngel's account, service and support processing is Drotos Lorant Laszlo, Hungary.
Registered address: 2304 Halásztelek, István utca 4/4, Hungary
Contact: saltlight.hungary@gmail.com
EU data-protection law, including the GDPR, and applicable Hungarian law govern this processing. This notice does not replace the policies of providers acting for their own purposes.
2. What information is processed?
- Account and authentication: email address, account identifiers, authentication credentials and related verification, password-reset and session information handled through Base44.
- Datasets and settings: dataset names, column names, imported values, column roles, limits, targets and related analysis settings. The import flow reads your source file in the browser and saves parsed dataset content; it does not upload the original spreadsheet as a separate file.
- Technical and usage information: information generated when accessing the service, such as IP address, browser/device information, access times, page or authentication events and diagnostic records handled by the hosting platform.
- Correspondence: your email address, message and any attachments you send us.
Please avoid personal information in dataset names, column labels and free-text values as well as in data rows. Removing names alone may not make a dataset anonymous.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process account and dataset information to provide the service you request, under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Necessary account information is required to use saved-dataset features; you can browse public pages without registering.
We handle service-related support under Article 6(1)(b), and general enquiries or feedback under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and improving Yngel. Necessary security, abuse prevention and fault investigation rely on Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service. Processing required by law relies on Article 6(1)(c).
These purposes and bases describe the operator's processing. They do not establish a legal basis for every independent use a provider may make of data. Reading this notice or using Yngel is not consent to AI training or optional tracking.
4. Base44 and AI model training
Yngel's statistical calculations and interpretation messages do not require a generative-AI chat feature. This does not exclude platform-level data use.
Base44's AI model-training policy says workspace data can be used for training on plans other than Enterprise, without an opt-out. Yngel currently uses Builder.
We cannot confirm whether a particular account record or dataset has been used, which model it may contribute to, or whether previously used information can be removed from trained models. Base44 has not provided an app-specific exclusion. Its DPA and public policy do not give us a verified, app-specific explanation resolving the scope of that use. We therefore cannot promise exclusion from training, including for personal information submitted through the app.
Do not submit personal, special-category, proprietary, customer or employer-confidential data. Contact us before using Yngel if your organisation requires a contractual training exclusion.
5. Recipients and international processing
Base44 provides hosting, authentication and database services, with its service providers and subprocessors. The operator accesses information as needed for operation, support and handling rights requests. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.
Support correspondence is handled through a standard Gmail account provided by Google, not a Google Workspace business mailbox. Avoid sensitive attachments. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Yngel's current Base44 deployment stores data in the United States; we do not promise EU-only storage or processing. Base44's DPA describes international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. We have not obtained confirmation of the specific mechanism covering every Yngel-related transfer. You may contact us to request the available safeguard information or copies, subject to appropriate redactions.
Further provider information: Base44 Privacy Policy and Security and Trust Center.
6. How long information is retained
- Accounts and saved datasets: retained while your account and datasets remain in use, until you delete them or request deletion, subject to necessary legal retention. There is no automatic 12-month expiry for saved datasets.
- Support correspondence: the operator deletes correspondence and attachments under their control within 12 months after the enquiry is closed. The operator personally manages and is responsible for enforcing this rule. A limited record may be retained longer only where necessary for a legal obligation or a specific legal claim, for the period required for that purpose.
- Provider logs, recovery copies and backups: we have not obtained a confirmed maximum retention or deletion timeframe applicable to all Yngel records. These are controlled by the provider and may remain after deletion from the active app or mailbox.
The 12-month support rule is an operator commitment, not a guarantee about every provider-held copy.
7. Deleting your information
You can delete saved datasets through dataset management and request account deletion through Account, or contact us for assistance.
Successful in-app deletion concerns active application records. We cannot promise immediate or complete erasure from provider logs, backups, recovery systems or any prior AI-training use. A published recovery period for a deleted Base44 app must not be treated as a verified deletion deadline for individual datasets or users. Server-side revocation of every existing token or verification code after account deletion has not been independently confirmed.
Deletion does not remove copies you exported, downloaded or shared. We will handle a valid erasure request, seek provider assistance where needed, and explain any applicable restriction rather than promise an unverified purge date.
8. Browser storage and tracking
Yngel and its authentication platform use browser storage for login/session and application configuration information. The app code uses localStorage, including for an access token and app parameters. These values can remain until cleared or replaced; exact platform-managed lifetimes have not all been verified.
We do not have a complete verified inventory of cookies, browser storage, analytics and provider-side tracking across both domains. We therefore do not claim that all tracking is disabled or that every storage item is strictly necessary. Platform technical event collection may continue independently of optional analytics settings.
You can inspect or clear site data through your browser; this may sign you out or reset settings. This notice is not a substitute for consent where optional tracking requires it.
9. Your rights and security
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email us using the contact above. We may request proportionate identity verification. We normally respond within one month; legally permitted extensions will be explained within that period.
You may complain to the Hungarian supervisory authority, NAIH, or another competent EU supervisory authority.
We use the application's access controls and provider security measures, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
10. Statistical outputs and notice updates
Yngel provides statistical outputs and guidance for you to interpret. It is not designed to make automated decisions about individuals that have legal or similarly significant effects.
We will update this page when relevant processing changes and make material changes appropriately visible. The date above identifies this version of the notice.
